GESTUS officially started
On November 25th and 26th, the GESTUS project kickoff took place at the EUSPA – EU Agency for the Space Programme headquarters in Prague. It was two highly productive days, during which we also held a consortium meeting to prepare for the start of activities. GESTUS Project will develop a platform for modeling human body kinematics using wearable sensors that integrate GNSS and IMU technologies. This solution will have a significant impact on athletic trainers working with high-level athletes, as well as clinicians and therapists dealing with neurodegenerative diseases that affect patient mobility.
The project will last 30 months, and one of its key strengths is the complementary team involved, represented by the partners GTER, Stonex, Comftech, Geonumerics, Ubitech, University of Genova, RIMS, FISM and CNIT
