CNIT – Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per le Telecomunicazioni

CNIT is a research institute on telecommunication federating 37 Italian Universities. TheSecure and Smart Network (S2N) National Laboratory of CNIT, involved in many research andinnovation actions especially in Horizon programs dealing with 5/6Gsystems, IoT,cybersecurity, and edge/cloud computing, will bring to the GESTUS project its experience andresearch know-how on future-proof edge-cloud and networking solutions.

The Laboratory alsoowns and developed a sophisticated testbed infrastructurethat allow realizing complete andprogrammable network environments from human handled devices to cloud infrastructures, and that will be exposed in GESTUS to provide an easy integration and testing environmentallowing all the partners to access remotelyand to jointly work on the connected software andhardware prototypes. CNIT further contributes to project-wide security by establishingintegration levels and communication infrastructure.
